100% of your donation, which is tax-deductible, will go towards supporting the Beat the Streets organization, of which Novogratz serves as Chairman of the Board.
Novogratz, currently a private investor, was formerly a principal and a member of the board of directors of Fortress Investment Group LLC and Chief Investment Officer of the Fortress Macro Fund. He joined Fortress in 2002 after spending 11 years at Goldman Sachs, where he was elected partner in 1998. Mr. Novogratz received an AB from Princeton University in Economics, and served as a helicopter pilot in the US Army.
Novogratz founded and serves as the Chairman of the Board for Beat the Streets, a non-profit organization which builds wrestling programs in New York City public schools. He is additionally the Honorary Chairman of USA Wrestling Foundation.
Lubin’s career has involved various posts in the fields of technology and finance and in their intersection. Lubin worked as a software engineer and consultant on various projects, eventually being tipped for the role of Director of the New York office of Blacksmith, a Virginia-based software consulting firm. Software engineering, finance and cryptography were central during employment with Goldman Sachs, eMagine’s consulting work on the Identrus project, and the founding and operation of a set of hedge funds run with a partner. Lubin later co-founded the Ethereum Project, and has been working on Ethereum and more recently ConsenSys since January 2014.
